IAN BARTON

Ian joined the firm in February 2022 as a consultant dealing with all aspects of private client work including Trusts, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Tax Planning. He is admitted as a Solicitor in England & Wales and as an Attorney at Law in New York. He was previously head of private client legal services at a trust corporation in the City of London and he worked for several years in Jersey and in the Caribbean in the offshore trust industry.

 

In a past life he lived in Germany where he worked for the Munich office of an international law firm and later at the Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt am Main. He is a German speaker.

 

Outside  of work, Ian is a member of the East India Club in the St James district of London and is currently one of the club’s directors where he actively participates in the management and development of the club.
