Stonewall - Pride 2022

On behalf of the Garden House Solicitors, our director Patricia Ling has made a donation to Stonewall charity to help support the LGBTQ+ community in securing equality. Stonewall stands for lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer, questioning and ace (LGBTQ+) people everywhere and fights for equality, freedom and potential.

Stonewall was founded on the 24th May 1989, exactly one year after Section 28 of the Local Government Act was passed which banned the ‘promotion of homosexuality’ by schools and councils across Britain. Since then, Stonewall have fought tirelessly to achieve transformational change including the legalization of same sex marriage and adoption.

Here at Garden House Solicitors, we believe that pride is visibility, understanding and acceptance – we are proud to support Stonewall and we ally with the LGBTQ+ community.
